Abstract
Engineering case studies are used in an ethics course to force students to make real-life ethical choice. Video tapes and class presentation techniques are suggested that promote critical thinking and personal involvement. In the paper, some student data are presented which indicate that these methods are improving the students' ethical standards and that substantial learning is taking place.
