Abstract
The article focuses on the use of a multimedia problem-based learning (PBL) module in aiding preservice teachers on identifying and providing services to students with disabilities by collaborating with multiple stakeholders and using artifacts to develop a decision making rationale that would benefit their students. PBL allows contextualized learning for student teachers regarding special education-related topics before they are deployed in the actual teaching field. An evaluation on a multimedia PBL module known as the Multicultural Special Education and its influence on preservice elementary teachers is discussed.
