Dr. Mary Sharpe

Dr. Mary Sharpe is an Associate Professor of English at Arkansas Tech University. She holds a BA from Sewanee, The University of the South, an MA from The University of Texas at Austin, and a PhD from the University of North Texas. Dr. Sharpe’s poems have appeared in Poetry Daily, The Hopkins Review, The Southwest Review, Blackbird, Tar River Poetry, Stand Magazine, and other journals. Her manuscript, Specter, has been named a Finalist for the St. Lawrence Book Award, The Brittingham and Felix Pollak Prizes, and other awards.

Digital Editor & Site Architect

As part of my graduate work at Arkansas Tech University, I’ve had the honor of leading the digital archiving and site development for Nebo: A Literary Journal. My role has included building the new online platform, formatting and uploading past issues, and helping to create a more accessible and engaging space for readers, writers, and contributors around the world. I’m passionate about preserving creative work and making literary spaces more open, inclusive, and lasting.
